I have used this shield in HEMA, SCA rattan, and buhurt, and it was able to withstand every single blow delivered to it. The adjustable straps really help because it fits with my Eastern Gauntlet without issue. It has never failed me, and I will keep training to improve my strength so I can use this more effectively. And the brass flowers make it very stylish :D
